…and Allie Goodman and Eighty-Eight. These pics were taken in March 2005.
Meet Molly Moo. She’s in the top picture…with little Natalie, her daughter. Natalie was born with a paint brush dipped tail. It’s so cute. Solid black and the end looks like a paint brush dipped in white paint.
Next…meet Allie Goodman. As a calf, she was very alert, so I named her Allie. DS came up with the Goodman. I’m sitting right under her taking that picture!
On the far right is 88 and her bull calf. 88 is a bull twin. DH purchased her and her twin brother for beef cattle. Normally, we do not use female cattle for beef. We castrate the bulls and use those. However, as I stated previously, 88 is a bull twin…the female/male twin set usually results in a female that cannot be bred. 88 was a RARE exception and has a fine looking calf. She’s an excellent mom. And, without fail, she gives us a calf every year. She’s also known as Miss Piggy…she hogs the feed. I reckon that’s from being raised as a steer before we found out she could be bred.
I’m using up paper, accessories & ribbon from the Stampin’ Flybabies Spring 2009 Craft Kit…the butterfly glittered paper, ribbon, flowers, buttons. I really do like the ribbons in this layout; they have a retro feel. The butterfly glittered paper was cut with the Top Note Bigz Die and distressed. The title was cut using Lollipop Sixxiz Alphabet. I ran the title letters through Xyron and attached.
Are you enjoying this trip to my farm? Stop by again, soon!
